New Voices is designed to increase the diversity in board leadership positions across Tulsa.
The New Voices Board Internship Program is offered in partnership with the Tulsa Area United Way. All participants will have the opportunity to serve a one-year appointment on a TAUW agency board. Those successfully completing the program will have additional help with permanent board placements.
Leadership Tulsa is seeking candidates with under-represented racial, cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds who have the commitment to serve in volunteer board leadership roles. Participants will gain training and support through a two-day opening retreat, nine morning educational sessions and two evening mixers with board mentors.
Participants are chosen based on their application and limited to 15-25 people. The cost is $400 and scholarships are available.
The application for Class 17 will be available in September 2025.
